It is just me or does Disneyland just not seem "normal" unless the DRR is open and the Main Street Station announcements are heard clearly as you enter the park?

It just seems weird when the front of the park is missing the ambient sounds of the DRR.

You are exactly right. MSS and the railroad are the "title card" of the Park. No action there, things feel "off".

Could be worse, though: they could put a Ferris wheel on the tracks.
