LEGO DISNEYLAND STATION

Post by norman »

Hi,

Does anyone know

- what is the Scale of the LEGO DISNEYLAND STATION comparing to the Prototype Drawings ?

- is it possible to build two LEGO FRONT Elevation Sides back to back to build a more realistic Station Model ?

Thank you,

Norman

In terms of scale, LEGO isn’t all that prototypical to any particular scale. It’s really weird and flexible because the mini figures are so out of proportion for humans. Add in that neither of the side wings of the platform are present and its nigh impossible to say “it’s this specific scale.”

Buying two copies of the set will give you enough parts to build a dual-sided model, but it won’t be all that accurate. You’d end up with a rear facing side that looked exactly like the front facing - and that is way off from the real structure. Your best bet is to custom design a rear face that looks prototypical and then order those specific parts.

Yes...there is not a scale. But the LEGO scale for the Disney station is close to 'O' or 1/4" scale as far as doors and windows go.

Completing the open back side can be done better by buying the needed parts from 'Brick Owl' or 'Brick Wall' sellers rather than pat anointer $330. My son has a 12 x 12 foot L shaped LEGO city, with trains, and many of the buildings were made from bricks bought from aftermarket sellers.....often cheaper.
