Ooops!
"The Oriental Land Company was forced to issue an apology today after discovering that one of the steam locomotives on the Western River Railroad attraction at Tokyo Disneyland ran for nearly a month after its safety checks expired."
Seems the Mississippi's boiler certificate expired back in May, and was only caught in June after it had been in operation hauling guests during that period. (How very un-Japanese in my experience!)

Re: WRRR operating with expired boiler certificate!
Luckily, steam locomotives don’t know how a calendar works, and this one didn’t know its paperwork was expired.
No harm no foul in my opinion.
