Hello All,
I am scratch building a model of Ward Kimball's Chloe and wondered If there's anyone out there that has photos of the full size engine they could spare me please. Any help would be really appreciated.
Sincerely
Tom

Hello FreakOuter84,
I apollogise for my post appearing in the wrong place, I hope I haven't caused any offence. Thank you for your kindness in posting your photos of Chloe, I really love this engine.
Steve, I am building my model in G Guage using LGB parts, I have drive wheels, con-rods with crossheads, coupling rods and cylinders with covers. The rest I will make from scratch.
Truth is the ready made engine is just too expensive for me to buy.
Sincerely
Tom

I was wondering if it was G, because I was going to mention the LGB one already produced! I understand completely about the price. Usually, it's more fun to make something yourself anyway, even if it aleady exists!

Also it seems the LGB model lacks some details like the eagle on the sand dome and the marker lights on the tender the whistle on the LGB loco looks like it has a single chime whistle on it I think an ozark mini. whistle whould look good on the loco have fun and happy railroading

Re: Scratch building Chloe
Hello Casey, I was hoping that you could post some pictures of your scratch build of the Chloe. I figure since this post is about 5 years old, she should have had several laps around the track by now. I also noticed that you were working on a few others. Any pictures?
