$4200 would be a new high for the electric version in a public auction. The previous high price was $2700.

Man I missed the boat not getting one of those!
Nothing like eBay reminding you of your screw-ups for years and years to come...

Yeah, I wish I had bought more of those, too. The biggest "oops" of all was the Casey Jr. model. Disney cleared those out for $99 and I've seen them go for as much as $1200.

Wow, $1200? I still have mine with all of the original paperwork and packaging. I have only test run it on my layout a total distance of about two feet when it was new just to make sure that it was working properly. I bought it when The Disney Catalog was getting rid of them. I don't think that I would ever sell it but $1200 is a lot of cash and it would be a pretty good return on my investment.

Of all the products I had made, Casey Jr. was the only "failure". Turns out that it wasn't such a failure!

Clearly not!

Maybe it's time to revisit some of those other projects that were dreamed up... LO :D

I missed getting both back in the day! Skipped over since I model HO scale and didn't have room for G-Scale models. Both would have been good investments.

They've been trying to get that $4200 for a few months now. Lost track of how many times it's been re-listed.
