Custom Fabrications Locomotives.
Custom Fabrications Locomotives.
Hello! I know this form wont get a lot of attention. But working on the SFGAm railroad I have become very fond of the locomotives. Many Photos of CF locos have long since been gone off this forum, looking for help finding some of these old pictures, any addition info on CF locos would be great!

Re: Custom Fabrications Locomotives.
The last remaining operational Custom Fabricators locomotive from the Great America park in Santa Clara, CA is operating in Florida at the Kirby Family Farm in Williston. Here is a video if it:

Yes, I do know that all 6 that were made still exist, 2 at SFGAm, 2 at Kirby, 1 in a Nevada park, and one in private hands, although unknown location. I am looking for pictures of the green locomotive that ran at paramount's great America, there is a short clip of it in Beverly hills cop III but still not a good angle, and I have a few of it in parts but no good images of it running.

As I recall, the one in Nevada was at a Hotel Casino, and is no longer in operation,

I also do not have pictures of the green locomotive from the Santa Clara Great America park in operation. I only have photos of it in pieces backstage at the park shortly before it disappeared without a trace._Zuper wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 11:25 am Yes, I do know that all 6 that were made still exist, 2 at SFGAm, 2 at Kirby, 1 in a Nevada park, and one in private hands, although unknown location. As I recall the one in Nevada was notable for the fact that sometime it had it's pony truck replaced with a four wheel one. Apparently they had tracking problems, and that was less expensive than changing the layout of the line.
