Seeing a lot of buzz on FB about track being laid behind Space Mountain and the tunnel through Tron near completion. Apparently they announced at D23 that Tron would be open next year, could actually see the RR running before then.

My daughter and family were at the MK WDW today and #2 Lillie Bell was out all day 'testing'. Ride was still closed.....but my grandson, a train fanatic, got to see it run anyway.

That makes at least two engines that have been out for testing. Good news!

Thank you for the photo. It's always great to see the only Disney theme park mogul out and about!

Now that it appears the WDW railroad is close to being back in service, Walter and Lilly Belle have been out and about.
Anyone know if Rodger is still at Strasburg and what is Roy's status

Lillie Belle was out all day running laps per my daughter. At times it carried passengers but not public. She said it could be next week when RR returns to service......just in time for them to head home!! I have a new pic I'll load SAT

Friday at WDW....today is daughters last day at WDW so no train rides this time.
IMHO Walt would never allow the RR to be down this long......

Wow, what a gorgeous photo - thank you so much for posting it!

Also note that there are no flags on the pilot beam. I believe that green flags there mean that the train is in service. If the train is out of service, it should have white flags there though. (Others please correct me on all that if I'm wrong.)

Hey, Locoboy,

Green flags mean that the train is part of a scheduled revenue run (and is actually part of a larger train that is split into segments). White flags means that it's a "special", that is, not on the schedule but is still in revenue service.

What we see here is a deadhead: a train that is not in revenue service. I think that deadheads do not display flags, but maybe one of our learned colleagues here can confirm or correct.

Red flags should be on the end of the train. And if you ever see a blue flag on a moving piece of equipment... run!
