I see lots of these train sets for sale on the web, with some asking prices over $2000. I'm not seeing much about the models. Are the engine bodies die-cast?

I believe the above class 60 drawings were originally published in conjunction with the Chicago Railroad Fair of 1948-49. Walt Disney and Ward Kimball went to this fair.

I've been using Flickr for image hosting for many years, and they've been perfectly reliable. I've never paid a nickel, for the service.
