Re: A few decent pics from my recent trip
beautiful shots of the trains. Is that the new speaker system on the excursion set. I don't remember those boxes being there by the lamps.

Re: Not the railroad but steam powered,, the Mark Twain
The best I could find using the search engine within our boards was Roy O has the original whistle and bell from the Adm Joe Fowler Steam Boat which sank. There is some confusion on the thread as to whether it is a 5 chime or a 3 chime, but regardless it is not the Mark Twain's whistle you are looki...

I think we covered this with the Dog some years ago. I just can't remember all the details. If I remember it is a 3 chime and much larger than the Railroad whistles.

Re: G scale layout help!
Sorry, I live up in the Bay Area, but again as Selderekcol said, if you post photos of your backyard, sketch us an idea of what your ideal railroad would look like with words or a sketch, dimensions and what stock you are using, it would be helpful. If your train is stalling out, it is most likely y...

According to the Orange Empire, Ward had 3 coaches for Emma. #10 Esmeralda, a V&T business coach, body only. #39 built by Carter, a 2nd class coach, body only. #5 B&S, a first class coach, model made of this one.

Re: Adding Simple Details To A Hartland Lilly Belle
So I misspoke on the combine car. It looks like a combine car, but it is the caboose attached with the freight door open. Very grainy photo. Hans likes to claim he inspired everything in railroading. If you ask him, he brought LGB to America. Gold Coast is all about price gouging and fleecing the cu...

Re: Adding Simple Details To A Hartland Lilly Belle
Yes, that Bachmann GFRR set is very close if not exact to Emma Nevada. In reality Emma only pulled the combine and 1 coach, but since your layout is so large 5 GFF coaches is great to watch. I have heard a deal is being struck with Bachmann to get the rights to Chloe and the Observation car and 2nd ...

Re: Adding Simple Details To A Hartland Lilly Belle
Or you could just get really nice poster board with photos of the actual Lilly Belle and place them around the display area where you teach the kids about steam and say look this is a close approximation to the Lilly Belle which was released on Walt's 100th birthday at Disneyland Park by the Carolwo...

Re: New Fireworks Projections?
And the drivers are moving, very slow rotation but they are moving. Doesn't look like it to me if you look at the side rod stuck at the top of the drivers. Where do you see couplers? They are clearly seen right where they should be, only REALLY BIG blocky looking things, almost Lionel style or old ...
