They may have just been haphazardly ordered with no regard to numbering. Retlaw 1 obviously has always been 101-106 in numeric order. The freight set may have been numbered, but the order of the cars never adhered to. even though stock car 300, 301 and 302 were numbered that way, 300 may not always ...

CK Holliday has a pitched cab roof, as does Marsh. Fred and EP have rounded cab roofs.

Let's not forget the caboose was on display inside the Lilly Belle for a very long time on the custom table with track. I think I remember it being attached to Lilly Belle in Disneyland for a year or 2 before being moved to the Nixon Presidential Library. I don't remember if it went to Tokyo on loan...

I have a photo from Time showing CK pulling Stock, Stock, Stock, Gondola, Gondola, Caboose. I don't think there was a set order back then

John's layout it amazing. The Carpetland video is just a small shot of how amazing the detail he has placed into it. Thanks for the info. So my delema is that I have the LGB Fred Gurly top half but not the bottom. I noticed the Columbus is in the same paint scheme so I thought I would combine the two. LGB Columbus and LGB Fred are the exact same frames and bodies. it is a simple removal of the shells and swapping...
