Re: FWRR Accucraft Electric Engine on eBay
Thanks for the heads up! It's nice how this one is a true auction and not some crazy high Buy It Now price only, as has been the case in the past with these locomotives.

Re: Fort Wilderness Accucraft Locomotive On EBay
That is a lot of cash for a runner locomotive without any of the original packaging or paperwork.

Re: Knott's Berry Farm No. 41
That is good news about the board of directors in my opinion. When I was talking about that 51% of the company being made up by Cedar Fair, I was just talking about the shareholders. That percentage was originally stated in this article: https://www.cleveland.com/news/2023/11/cedar-fair-six-flags-ag...

Re: Knott's Berry Farm No. 41
You're welcome! After so many years of being a roller coaster enthusiast, I have learned to be EXTREMELY leery whenever a park has been "Flagged." Us coaster enthusiasts have been through the ringer all too often, courtesy of Six Flags. (Though to be perfectly honest, Cedar Fair does have ...

Ah, OK. I had no idea that it was not originally a 2-4-4T. Thanks for the explanation.

Re: Cedar Point & Lake Erie RR #1
Thank you for the update. I have not seen that locomotive in person in many years. Traces of the "Ward Kimball" lettering on the cab were still faintly visible when I last saw and photographed it at Cedar Point. I hope that it will be returned to its original 2-4-4T wheel arrangement durin...

Re: Live Steam Ripley
It looks like the owner took an older style 4-4-0, "modernized" it, and then painted it like DRR 2. It is also way out of my price range but it is in Stockton which is not too far from me, unlike almost every steam locomotive that comes up for sale.

Re: Knott's Berry Farm No. 41
The train talk in the video starts at 18:48. The talk about the Knott's Crown locomotive starts right afterwards. Don't blame me Tractor - I did not utter a word as per your instructions to me at Frontier Village a few weeks ago! Someone else spilled the beans on camera! I am not happy that th...

Re: Knott's Berry Farm No. 41
Changing the name of the GT & C RR is an absolutely perfect example of a total no-no for us engineers - a solution to a problem that does not exist. To think that people actually get paid to think up this stuff! They can change the name all that they want on the website in my book though....
