Re: WDWRR Post-COVID Maintenance and Reopening Timeline?
It was reported on the Walt Disney World Railroad Fans and Modelers Facebook page that Lilly Belle was out and about a bit on Monday. No report if it went to the switch at the main. A video and some still pictures posted I saw that! (Primarily because I am the guy who runs that page!) Eve...

Re: How to restore a steam locomotive
I've seen this several times. I'd totally do it. The only problem is finding a locomotive to restore!

Smoke and Fire o’er Doe River Gorge
So, recently, a HUGE development has been made, not just for fans of the ET&WNC, but for fans of theme park steam as well. Recently, Doe River Gorge Ministries, who owns and operates 3 miles of the former East Tennessee & Western North Carolina (ET&WNC) Railroad, recently Test-fired thei...

Re: Electric starter and other firing changes?
So, the Walter E. Disney is finally back at the Magic Kingdom after a few years at Strasburg. I'm guessing she's been computerized, much like Lily has? If that is the case (Which I'm pretty much certain is), are there any notable differences between Walt and Lily's Computer Systems?

Re: WDWRR Post-COVID Maintenance and Reopening Timeline?
Two things... 1) I was wrong in that they have completed track work on the mainline because 2) there is no track at at Fantasyland Station! I guess I was correct about there being no train on display at Fantasyland Station. Yep. I'm guessing they're getting ready to finally replace that track...

Re: WDWRR Post-COVID Maintenance and Reopening Timeline?
I am of the opinion that the WDWRR will return to service once the tunnel is completed through Tron & the "grand circle" is reconnected. It is more likely that they'll open the WDWRR prior to the completion of Tron because the railroad serves a multitude of functions in the park - as ...

Re: Walter E. Disney leaving
Welp, the day is finally here. Walter has left Strasburg. As I type this, I am not 100% sure if he has arrived back at WDWRR, but I imagine so. He spent a total of roughly 3 years and 10 months at Strasburg. Here's the big question though: What exactly is Walt going to do when she gets back? My gue...

WDWRR Post-COVID Maintenance and Reopening Timeline?
Alright then. So, as we all know, Construction Projects were temporarily suspended following the closure of the Walt Disney World Resort in Mid-March. This included the TRON: Lightcycle Run Rollercoaster, which, as we all know, caused the WDWRR to temporarily suspend operations. So, Recently, WDW Ne...
