Re: Looking Back...

I’m blanking on the tech term, but Steve B, Matt and myself had a weekly on-line chat session. Those were always enjoyable as I sipped my coffee before getting down to work. I was thinking about those live chats just the other day. Everyone was welcome to attend, and occasionally others did as well...

Re: Temu?

Yes, I see them, too. They have some pretty strange things. And I would like to point out that Burnsland.com has no control over which ads you see. If you see one you don't like, feel free to report it by clicking on the "X" on the ad. If anyone wants to sponsor the site, you can make the ...

Re: Roger E Broggie box on rear of tender

See this post about the Lilly Belle, on which the generator at the rear of the tender was replaced by batteries. My guess is that it is the same for the Broggie, and that the batteries take up more room than the generator. Perhaps someone with more knowledge can let us know for certain.

Re: Gradients on the WDWRR

My guess is that it has to do with the overall construction of the Magic Kingdom. The Utilidors underneath the park are at ground level, and most of the park is on the second level. And then Main Street Station is another level above the "park" level, while the northeast corner of the Magi...

Re: Disneyland Railroad Down For Track Replacement

Here is a news article about the track replacement. Not much that hasn’t already been said here, but I thought it might be worth sharing.

Re: Disneyland area history help?

Doing a little sleuthing turned up an address of 1656 S. Harbor Blvd. It looks like according to the 1975 phone book, it was called Golf World. In a 1988 article in the Los Angeles Times, its name had changed to Golf N' Stuff. Good work! I tried searching with the address but never could get anythi...
