Re: Accucraft Lilly Belle (live steam) for auction - NIB
This one is truly rare. We only made 50 of these and they rarely change hands. One that is NIB is particularly scarce - many of these were steamed up. The last one I saw for auction went for ~$2500, and that was before an electric version sold for $6151!

Re: DRR Badges on eBay
I knew about the Magic Kingdom badge, thanks to Steve. I bid on it but someone sniped me. It's a bit sad as that is the only Disney hat badge I'm missing. (Apart from the Viewliner, which is outside my sphere of collecting.) I'd be most appreciative if any of the Burnsland Bros let me know if they s...

How cool! I didn't know that.Steve DeGaetano wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 2:28 pm My “SMD” is stamped into the cab wall behind the cab signal box.
The builder's plates effort was a lot of fun... and something that would likely be impossible to make happen today.
Re: Temu?
Thanks, Steve. I'm not particularly offended by them - although the conjoined elves is gratuitous - they all just seem like an odd choice for a Disney railroad-related site. I guess Temo doesn't sell model trains... yet.
Temu?
Do the rest of you see these bizarre ads from Temu? Apparently, Temu now sells women: some wearing elf ears, others who look painfully unbalanced.

Someday, my young padawan, twenty years won't seem like that much time.
As for "another locomotive", it depends on the definition of "they".

Re: Gradients on the WDWRR
Thanks, Sam, your answer makes a lot of sense. It also ties well with Steve's observations about the relative heights of the railroad.
I think we have a solid answer!

Re: Gradients on the WDWRR
That's an interesting question, Sam. I always though that it was either: The RoW wasn't fully terraformed; that is, they left the natural grade in place They wanted a section where the engines would have to work a bit, and thereby create some nice "chuffing" sounds The only comment I've re...
